About the Craftsman
40+ years of experience in fine carpentry and woodworking.
Over the past 40+ years I’ve worked across the Hudson Valley building everything from turn-key homes to fine cabinetry and detailed interior finishing.
For many years I worked throughout Ulster and Dutchess counties. While I’m now semi-retired, the work continues in a more focused way, creating quality pieces in my shop and taking on select projects where craftsmanship truly matters.
My specialty is fine finish carpentry and cabinetry, with more than eight years dedicated specifically to high-end finishing work. Today my focus is building custom furniture, cabinetry, and detailed woodwork that becomes part of people’s homes.
What matters most to me is quality. I carefully source my materials and often work with reclaimed wood, allowing each piece to carry its own history and character.
To me, woodworking has always been more than just building something functional, it’s about creating something lasting.
Great woodworking begins with great materials. Every piece is built using carefully selected, high-quality lumber chosen for its strength, beauty, and character.
Whenever possible, reclaimed wood is used, wood that has already lived a life in barns, homes, or older structures. Reclaimed lumber carries a history that can’t be replicated, bringing unique grain patterns, texture, and warmth to each piece.
Combined with decades of experience and careful craftsmanship, these materials allow every project to become something long lasting, not just functional, but meaningful.
